CREATURE FEATURE GIVES BIRTH TO
MONSTOBERFEST
Minneapolis, MN (September 02, 2010) –
HUGE Theater’s longest running improv show, Creature Feature, has been officially renamed Monstoberfest. Originally an improvised monster movie, the renaming acknowledges the comedic horror show’s expansion in 2007 to include an improvised zombie show, and opens the door for further reimagining as HUGE Theater prepares to open its very own space on 31st and Lyndale in Uptown Minneapolis this November.
For now, as renovation of the newly-aquired space progresses, Monstoberfest enjoys its sixth year at the original location, The Brave New Workshop. This double feature is brought to you by two producers, HUGE Theater and BoyTron, and some of the Twin Cities best improvisers.
BoyTron presents, Survivors of the Undead Plague. This live, improvised zombie mayhem, explores the zombie genre through an ever-expanding world of scattered survivors, most of them doing a typically bad job of running, hiding and shooting for their lives. Fake guns, real horror, handy survival tips.
Preview them at Sample Night Live October 6th, 7pm!
HUGE Theater presents, Creature Feature, an all-improvised monster movie where the audience provides the inspiration for the monster and the movie title, and the cast of HUGE provides a fully-realized monster movie plot.
